Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Global Benefits leader to drive U.S. Open Enrollment and sustain U.S. and EMEA benefits operations in a remote contract role.

The position focuses on vendor governance, Workday benefits administration, and cross-functional stakeholder management. You will oversee medical, dental, vision, life, disability, leave, wellbeing and voluntary programs, while coordinating with brokers, carriers and payroll integrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive benefits experience.
• 5+ years leading complex U.S. health and welfare programs.
• Demonstrated experience leading annual Open Enrollment programs.
• Strong understanding of medical, dental, vision plans; leave administration; ACA requirements; ERISA administration; retirement plans and fiduciary governance.
• Experience with Workday Benefits, benefits vendors/brokers, payroll and HRIS integrations.
• Experience managing competing priorities and large-scale operational initiatives.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of annual U.S. Open Enrollment, including vendor coordination, Workday benefits administration and testing, employee communications, and payroll/system integration governance.
• Oversee medical, dental, vision, life, disability, leave, wellbeing and voluntary benefit programs; manage broker and carrier relationships.
• Support annual health and welfare renewals, plan design reviews, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate ACA reporting and ERISA-related plan administration; retirement plan governance and 401(k) audit activities.
• Partner with regional stakeholders to support benefits programs across Europe and manage renewals; ensure local compliance and market competitiveness.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and prioritization for benefits analysts and operations resources.
• Identify process improvements across global benefits operations and assist in automation opportunities.
