Job summary

HAC is seeking a Senior Benefits & Leave Manager to administer and oversee employee benefit and leave programs. You will serve as the primary internal owner of benefits administration and leave management, ensuring programs are compliant and accurately run.

You will manage relationships with carriers and brokers, oversee enrollments and leaves, lead Open Enrollment, coordinate ADA/FMLA processes, and partner with Payroll, HR, and Finance to maintain controls and improve processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits, leave administration, or HR.
• Experience with FMLA, ADA, COBRA, disability programs, and benefit administration.
• Experience reconciling benefit invoices, eligibility records, and payroll deductions.
• Experience managing relationships with benefit carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
• Strong Excel and data reconciliation skills.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll and benefit administration systems.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day employee benefit administration.
• Manage relationships with benefit carriers, brokers, COBRA administrators, disability carriers, and other benefit vendors.
• Oversee enrollments, terminations, qualifying life events, eligibility changes, and benefit corrections.
• Lead annual Open Enrollment administration, including system configuration and communications.
• Coordinate leave of absence administration from request through return-to-work.
• Coordinate with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate benefit deductions and costs.
• Ensure compliance and support internal and regulatory audits.
