Job summary

BDA, LLC in Detroit seeks an experienced Benefits Manager to design, administer, and maintain employee benefits globally. You will partner with the Director, Global Compensation and Benefits to ensure compliant, competitive programs and confidential handling of sensitive information.

You will manage daily benefits operations, collaborate with payroll across sites, and lead program development while staying current with legislation. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
• CEBS or SHRM certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of benefits programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations related to benefits activities across multiple sites and internationally.
• Evaluate and modify existing benefits programs, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and implement new benefits programs in collaboration with the Director, Global Compensation and Benefits.
• Ensure compliance with current legislation.
• Communicate with third‑party services to negotiate benefit plans.
• Train and support HR team to understand support programs available to employees
• Work with Payroll to ensure accurate time off and benefits tracking & reporting
• Understand and communicate all benefits programs to maintain compliance.
