Job summary

Okta is seeking a Director of Global Benefits to architect and lead our benefits strategy across health, wellness, retirement, and leave programs globally. You will manage a high-performing team and partner with HR leadership to scale programs across NA, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring compliant governance and cost-effective design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR/Total Rewards experience with at least 5+ years leading global benefits strategy in a high-growth SaaS/tech environment.
• Deep knowledge of US health & welfare, 401(k) fiduciary governance, self-funded plans across EMEA and APAC.
• Experience leveraging HRIS tools and AI-driven benefits technologies to automate workflows.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Payroll, Legal, and Systems teams to ensure seamless execution and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year global benefits roadmap aligned with business objectives across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
• Lead benefits due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions, and architect local benefit packages for new markets.
• Oversee annual open enrollment and system integrations (e.g., Workday) to ensure a frictionless employee experience.
• Partner with Finance on long-term cost modeling, quarterly forecasting, and budget projections for sustainable benefit expenditure.
• Establish KPIs and utilization metrics to measure plan health, engagement, and ROI.
