Databricks Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable, to own end-to-end AR accounting across global balances and multiple legal entities, leading subledger-to-GL reconciliations and close processes in a fast-growth environment.

You will drive AFDA/CECL modeling, maintain AR integrity, and partner with Billing, Cash Applications, Revenue, and FP&A to standardize processes and advance AI-enabled automation across AR workflows.

Formación

• 6+ years of progressive AR and GL accounting experience in a mid-to-large organization with ownership of month-end close, AFDA/CECL, subledger-to-GL reconciliations, and AR management reporting.
• CPA strongly preferred and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong U.S. GAAP judgment; ability to research, document, and defend accounting conclusions relating to receivables, revenue recognition alignment, accrual cut-off, contract assets/liabilities, and expected credit loss methodologies.
• Ability to operate autonomously within a preparer/reviewer framework and deliver reviewer-ready workpapers.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Global AR Month-End Close: lead the monthly close for AR balances with end-to-end subledger-to-GL reconciliations and related schedules.
• AFDA/CECL: model and monitor allowances; prepare monthly provisions and ensure audit trails.
• Lead AI & Automation Adoption: identify and implement AI/automation opportunities across AR workflows to improve accuracy and speed.
• Maintain AR subledger integrity: flux analyses, variance explanations, and period-over-period movement schedules for senior leadership.
