Job summary

Cloudera seeks a Manager, Applied AI Strategy and Operations to lead global commercial and operational initiatives accelerating Private AI growth. You will govern the global Applied AI program, manage the AI adoption funnel, and develop metrics to track subscription and consumption adoption while coordinating with Sales, Solution Engineers, and Professional Services.

The role requires deep enterprise software experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to transform data into actionable

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and structuring skills; capable of scoping complex strategic challenges.
• Highly analytical; leverage CRM data and customer insights to validate hypotheses on AI adoption and workload consumption.
• Able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite, technical leaders, and regional VPs, turning data into an executive storyline.
• Deep familiarity with enterprise data management platforms, hybrid cloud architectures, data lakehouses, and AI/ML ecosystem capabilities.
• Proficiency with GTM systems (Salesforce, Clari), business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI), and SQL.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy in dynamic environments and establish operational rigor from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Establish global governance and operating rhythms for Applied AI across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
• Track and optimize the AI adoption funnel from discovery to production and scale.
• Structure analytical frameworks to prioritize target accounts across Top 100 lists.
• Define and standardize strategic metrics around subscription and consumption-based adoption.
• Analyze partnerships with AI infrastructure ecosystems to maximize ARR expansion.
• Design scalable processes for tracking team allocations and solution productization.
• Build segment analyses, growth models, and business cases for investment decisions.
