• Schedule ocean and/or air bookings for hazardous and nonhazardous cargo
• Ensure timely delivery and complete required paperwork
• Process data and obtain consular or agency releases as appropriate
• Identify transactions requiring special handling and implement improvements
• Request and negotiate freight quotations with details such as container capacities and weights
• Analyze numerical data and draw conclusions
• Draft complex letters and organize documents
• Understand the full range of freight forwarding services
