Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking an Air Export HUB Specialist in Miami to manage air export shipments within a HUB/gateway environment. You will coordinate consolidations, book space with carriers, and ensure MAWB accuracy while maintaining shipper and consignee updates.

The role requires 2–5 years in freight forwarding, Gateway/HUB experience, and knowledge of US export compliance. Proficiency with Cargowise (C1) is a plus; strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in freight forwarding shipments.
• Gateway or HUB operation experience.
• Knowledge of US Export Compliance preferred.
• Cargowise (C1) experience is a plus.
• Additional languages a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process and close MAWB for consolidations and back-to-back AWB’s.
• Book space with carriers.
• Enter spot rates and codes in C1.
• Track AWB and provide COB information to branches.
• Communicate with overseas agents and clients in a timely manner.
• Research rate discrepancies and maintain files.
• Manage/update carrier/vendor rates.
