Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in air freight, logistics, freight forwarding, or international transportation.
• Knowledge of export documentation and international shipping procedures.
• Understanding of U.S. export regulations and customs requirements preferred.
• Experience with airlines, overseas agents, and customers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and book air export shipments with airlines, carriers, and service providers.
• Prepare and review export documentation, including Air Waybills (AWB), commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
• Communicate with customers, overseas offices, airlines, warehouses, and trucking companies.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely movement and delivery.
• Provide shipment updates and resolve service issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, TSA requirements, and company policies.
• Verify rates, billing information, and shipment details for accuracy.
• Maintain shipment records and update transportation management systems.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
