The role emphasizes processing documents, communicating with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring TSA and government compliance for air and truck freight movements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of export experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of TSA and Government Agency requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the customer service liaison between GEODIS and the customer.
• Processes all documents and information requests received from GEODIS.
• Enters notes, information requests, and document requests in CargoWise system.
• Sends information/document requests to company employees, suppliers, service providers or overseas production offices as needed.
• Communicates with specified offices, departments, and teams on all issues affecting Air Export.
• Files document requests, correspondence, and documents in a file folder identified by the applicable shipping number.
• Ensures operational procedures are in line with company needs and TSA/government regulations.
