JAS Worldwide is seeking an Air Export Specialist to facilitate outbound air shipments, manage documentation, and ensure compliance across borders. You will provide customer service to exporting customers and accounting agents while handling bookings, rates, document production, and issue resolution.

The role requires 2–5 years of air export experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with CargoWise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience handling Air Exports shipments or a combination of education and expertise required.
• Cargowise experience is a plus.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Experience in the freight forwarding industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of US Exports Compliance is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and coordinate documents for air export activities.
• Coordinate cargo pickup and transfer while monitoring status.
• Communicate with authorities, customers, and suppliers to ensure compliant export activities.
• Manage carrier and vendor rates; obtain spot rates as needed.
• Track shipments and update customers and agents on status.
• Audit files for accuracy and completion.
• Complete US Customs AES filings.
• Interact professionally with coworkers.
• Assist other departments as needed.
