Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Air & Energy Programs to own the global air and energy strategy, driving compliance across regions, business units, and stakeholders. You will build multi-year plans, manage budgets, and lead a team to ensure auditable field execution.

The role requires extensive experience in air/energy regulatory compliance, strategic leadership, and the ability to navigate a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance or related field work including engaging with external stakeholders.
• Experience in risk management, audit, legal, compliance or a related field including engaging with external stakeholders.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
• Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field.
• 7+ years of team management with 6 or more direct reports experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cross-organizational alignment on a unified air and energy compliance vision.
• Own the strategic air and energy program roadmap, including air quality, emissions, air permitting, greenhouse gas, and energy management compliance programs and field execution frameworks.
• Develop and govern multi-year operating plans, program budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Build and operate program controllership mechanisms that drive speed, quality, and accountability across stakeholders.
• Communicate compliance strategy, program status, and risks to Director and VP-level audiences across functions.
• Partner with Legal, regulators, consultants, and technology teams to resolve barriers and reduce manual dependency.
• Define, implement, and govern KPI and compliance metric frameworks for real-time visibility.
• Lead talent management lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, development planning.
• Oversee work by contractors and vendors with audit and governance mechanisms.
• Work autonomously in ambiguous regulatory environment to define strategy and structure.
• Embed air and energy compliance objectives into day-to-day operations.
