Job summary

UL LLC is seeking a senior leader to develop and execute the U.S. and global AI business strategy, identify priority markets, and drive growth across targeted accounts and partnerships.

You will lead the introduction of AI testing, certification, advisory, and assurance services in collaboration with technical and operational teams, while engaging regulators and industry stakeholders to position UL Solutions as a trusted partner.

Qualifications

• University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline plus generally five years of experience in Business Development or eight years of experience in Marketing and/or Sales with account management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new markets and commercialize technical or professional services.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to translate technical and regulatory developments into customer value propositions.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, acquire and manage high value customer accounts.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and executive-presentation skills, with the ability to lead through influence across a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate on an industry basis with UL's larger customers over all related industries.
• Work with sales managers to generate revenue growth and achieve bookings goals.
• Respond effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues.
• Develop and coordinate executive presentations and de-briefings.
• Assist industry leadership in the development of global account strategies, goals and plans.
• Focus on customer satisfaction, account growth and expansion of services, and sustaining customer loyalty for a group of key customers.
• May provide work direction to other employees in charge of specific customer accounts.
• Develop and execute the U.S. and Global AI business strategy, identifying priority markets, applications, customers, and growth opportunities.
• Lead the introduction of new AI testing, assessment, certification, advisory, and assurance services in partnership with technical and operational teams.
• Build a robust business pipeline by developing strategic accounts, customer use cases, partnerships, and go-to-market plans.
• Engage regulators, including the FDA, to understand emerging expectations and position UL Solutions as a trusted technical and assurance partner.
• Build relationships with industry associations, standards organizations, technology companies, manufacturers, healthcare and medical-device organizations, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
• Collaborate across commercial, engineering, regulatory, marketing, and industry teams to translate customer needs into scalable offerings.
• Monitor AI technology, competitive, regulatory, and standards developments, and convert market intelligence into investment and business recommendations.
• Represent UL Solutions in customer discussions and industry forums as a credible voice on AI safety, performance, cybersecurity, compliance, and responsible deployment.
