Job summary

UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement, based in Evanston, IL, seeks a Sr. Manager, AI Portfolio to lead governance, portfolio management, and adoption strategies enabling responsible AI use across ULRI and ULSE.

The role partners with mission leaders to establish AI operating frameworks, guide investments and prioritization, manage AI solution lifecycles, and ensure governance, risk, and compliance alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of enterprise AI governance and portfolio management across ULRI and ULSE.
• Oversee AI portfolio, roadmap, and lifecycle from concept to adoption and value realization.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify, assess, and advance AI opportunities delivering measurable value.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for AI portfolio health, adoption, and risk posture.
