Job summary

Abaka AI is seeking a Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of data projects for leading AI teams, serving as the main bridge between clients, internal teams, and external partners. You will help shape delivery standards and scale workflows to ensure high-quality datasets and data pipelines for multimodal AI systems.

This is a highly cross-functional, fast-paced role in the United States, with collaboration across global time zones and vendors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management, operations, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
• Strong organizational skills with multitasking ability.
• Ability to work independently and resolve challenges.
• Excellent client-facing and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Clarify requirements, define scope, build detailed project plans, budgets.
• Lead end-to-end project execution, tracking progress and risks.
• Serve as main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Collaborate across departments to set priorities and communicate clearly.
• Manage and deliver annotated datasets and other outputs per specs.
• Continuously improve workflows to reduce costs and boost satisfaction.
