Job summary

SUSE is seeking a Global Alliance Director - AMD to lead the strategic alliance with AMD, driving AI stack integration across client desktops and enterprise servers using AMD CPUs and GPUs. In this role you will orchestrate multi-partner designs, secure co-sell funding, and manage commercial terms, legal matters, and joint marketing initiatives while aligning with engineering and sales enablement teams.

The position requires 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure software/hardware and 5–7+ years

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure software/hardware
• 5–7+ years in strategic alliance leadership or partner management with commercial responsibility
• Proven growth engine, joint GTM motions, and enterprise co-sell with partners
• Deep AI ecosystem knowledge including silicon hardware integration
• Experience with complex commercial frameworks, frame agreements, and MDF/funding
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and executive communication
• Willingness to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the global alliance strategy and execution with AMD
• Bridge relationships across silicon partners, OEMs, and Neocloud providers
• Lead joint market designs, references, blueprints, and integrations
• Structure proposals to secure partner funding for headcount and MDF
• Manage commercial terms, legal matters, and joint marketing initiatives
• Lead a virtual cross-functional team and executive relationships
