Job summary

FDH Aero is a leading aerospace and defense supply chain partner headquartered in Commerce, California. The Sr. Account Executive will drive sales strategies, develop business and strategic plans, and build strong customer relationships across programs and products.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to align sales goals with partnerships and programmatic needs. Responsibilities include quoting, order processing, price negotiations, and ensuring terms, quality, and customer requirements

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 7-10 years of related sales experience.
• Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures or government regs.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures.
• Problem solving and analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of basic ERP and internet browsing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process quotes, orders, pricing, availability, shipping costs.
• Communicate with customers and process RFQs, POs, returns, order follow-ups.
• Troubleshoot customer needs and provide adequate solutions.
• Create and build customer relationships via email and telephone.
• Negotiate prices for potential orders.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Shipping, Quality, Finance, Operations and Purchasing.
• Recommend products and services that fit customer needs.
• Review and enter Purchase Orders to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Be cooperative, positive, and respectful with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
