Innovative Systems/FinScan® seeks a highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Pittsburgh team. This role supports the global AP lifecycle, processes employee expenses, and assists with confidential private-entity bookkeeping.

The position emphasizes high trust, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive financial information. Based at our World Headquarters in suburban Pittsburgh, the role involves in-office work four days per week during onboarding.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable or related experience.
• Understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Experience with data entry and transaction processing.
• Experience reconciling bank or credit card accounts.
• Experience with accounts payable or payment posting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process supplier/vendor invoices in line with company policies and approvals.
• Assign invoices to correct general ledger codes and departments.
• Maintain supplier/vendor records and documentation.
• Post customer and other payments accurately.
• Process employee expenses, reimbursements, and credit card transactions.
• Support month-end close and other accounting activities as needed.
