Job summary

Rand Technology in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. The role covers international accounts payable across multiple currencies, vendor relations, VAT compliance, and audit support in a multi-currency environment.

You will oversee invoices, payments, and cash management, while driving process improvements and ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance across regions. This is an onsite role with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of accounts payable or accounting operations experience.
• Experience supporting commissions, cash receipts, bank reconciliations, or general ledger activities strongly preferred.
• ERP experience required; advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify a high volume of invoices across international locations, ensuring accuracy in multiple currencies.
• Manage vendor payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies across diverse currencies.
• Lead and participate in special projects to enhance accounts payable processes in a multi-currency framework.
• Ensure VAT-related invoices and payments are recorded accurately and support VAT audits.
• Support audit processes by organizing accounts payable records across regions and currencies.
• Manage multiple currencies and cash transfers, optimizing cash management strategies.
• Coordinate with internal departments and international vendors to resolve payment inquiries.
• Book payroll entries and travel reimbursements for multi-national currencies.
• Support external audits and provide required documentation and analysis.
