Job summary

CSC in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Global Accounts Payable Specialist for a hybrid role (3 days in office). You will process and reconcile invoices, manage payments, and support audits and month-end close. The position requires 1–3 years in AP, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and strong Excel skills.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, data accuracy, and collaboration with finance teams across geographies. A BS degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 2+ years in accounts payable or general ledger in a global environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, esp. Excel.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payments, and AP best practices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, verify, and reconcile invoices and payables in the ERP system.
• Process payments, ensure adherence to schedules and terms, and perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing, audits, and AP aging reporting.
• Maintain vendor master data, respond to inquiries, and resolve payment issues.
• Identify process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
