Job summary

Corporation Service Company is seeking a Global Accounts Payable specialist to receive, verify, and reconcile invoices and payables in our ERP systems, ensuring timely payments across multiple currencies and geographies.

The role supports CSC operations globally and requires 1–3 years of AP experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Hybrid, full‑time position in Wilmington, DE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of accounts payable or general ledger accounting experience, preferably global.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payment methods, and AP best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across time zones.
• Understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX).
• Experience with foreign currency transactions and international payment regulations is a plus.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming invoices, expense reports, and payment requests from global vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Validate invoice accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies and contractual terms.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Process payments through the ERP system, ensuring adherence to payment schedules and cash‑flow requirements.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable sub‑ledger to the general ledger.
• Maintain and update vendor master data, including tax information and banking details.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare and submit periodic AP aging reports and other financial metrics for management review.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals and audit support.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
