FDH Aero in Irving, TX is seeking an AP Specialist to ensure payments are received and transactions are recorded accurately, supporting a robust accounts payable workflow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in AP specialist roles.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and cash posting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Great Plains software.
• Clear and effective instruction and teamwork.
• Drives results with urgency and integrity.
• ITAR/EAR compliance awareness as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
• Prepares remote bank deposits.
• Processes payments, proformas, statement and invoice requests.
• Follow up on late payments and escalate to management as needed.
• Process and maintain advanced stage collection when necessary.
• Assist accounting manager with ad hoc reporting and duties.
• Investigate A/P discrepancies with other departments.
• Verify vendor information and match with invoices.
• Support monthly closings and GAAP compliance.
