Job summary

Allison Resources Management in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage day-to-day AP across multiple companies. You will handle the full AP cycle from invoice receipt to payment, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and timely recording in our ERP system.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of AP experience, knowledge of three-way matching, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience (fabrication or construction a plus).
• Solid understanding of three-way matching and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and an ERP or accounting system (Acumatica experience a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to hit payment deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication with vendors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices for raw materials, supplies, freight, and services
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents, and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare weekly check and ACH payment runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and the AP sub-ledger to the general ledger
• Maintain vendor records and verify banking changes to protect against fraud
• Process employee expense reports and card reconciliations
• Support month-end accruals, 1099 reporting, and audit requests
• Answer vendor and internal questions about payment status
