Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA seeks a Global Account Director to manage and grow a portfolio of key global accounts in the transportation and logistics sector. You will lead the global account strategy, drive revenue growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and guide a team of account managers.

This full-time position reports to the Vice President of Sales. A Bachelor's degree in business or logistics is required, a Master's is preferred, with at least 10 years in sales or account

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or account management in the transportation and logistics industry.
• Experience managing global accounts and developing account strategies is required.
• Experience working in a multinational corporation is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global alignment of the account management structure for a specific portfolio across regions, coordinating global strategy.
• Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at global accounts.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely issue resolution.
• Prepare and present business reviews and performance reports to clients and management.
• Conduct regular account planning and review meetings with the team.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
