CFGI in the Philadelphia area is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our internal accounting team. The role blends hands-on accounting with supervision of month-end close, intercompany activities, accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll oversight.

You will lead the team, ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, collaborate cross-functionally, support audits, and assist with international expansion, M&A work, and purchase accounting as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Thorough knowledge of general financial accounting, month-end close, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Ability to review payroll-related accounting without handling payroll processing.

Aufgaben

• Manage the month-end close process, journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Oversee intercompany transfer pricing calculations and billings.
• Manage intercompany close, reconciling balances and eliminating activity.
• Oversee payroll accounting and payroll-related journal entries (no payroll processing).
• Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to accounting staff.
• Oversee accounts payable and expense reimbursements and controls.
• Maintain cash flow forecasting to support planning.
• Coordinate with payroll and other stakeholders for period-end close.
• Support audits and document accounting policies to strengthen controls.
• Assist with international expansion, multiple currencies, and new entities.
• Play a key role in M&A activity and purchase accounting.
