Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of general financial accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and internal controls.
• Ability to review payroll-related accounting and general ledger activity without responsibility for payroll processing or payroll tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and schedules.
• Oversee intercompany transfer pricing calculations and intercompany billings.
• Manage the intercompany close process and reconciliations to ensure timely elimination.
• Oversee payroll accounting oversight (not processing) including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely work.
• Oversee accounts payable and expense reimbursement controls and processes.
• Maintain cash flow forecasting to support planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare financial reports and resolve accounting issues.
• Support international expansion with multi-currency accounting and local reporting requirements.
• Assist with M&A activity and purchase accounting integration where needed.
