Job summary

CFGI is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our internal accounting team in Charlotte, NC. You will lead the month-end close, oversee intercompany activities, and manage payroll oversight while ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting, assist with M&A integrations and purchase accounting, and support international expansion efforts as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of general financial accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and internal controls.
• Ability to review payroll-related accounting and general ledger activity without responsibility for payroll processing or payroll tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and schedules.
• Oversee intercompany transfer pricing calculations, intercompany billings, and the intercompany close to ensure accuracy and timely elimination.
• Supervise payroll accounting oversight and payroll team activities for accuracy and timeliness, while avoiding payroll processing.
• Manage accounts payable and expense reimbursement processes and maintain controls.
• Maintain cash flow forecasting to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Support external audits with documentation and timely responses; coordinate with cross-functional teams on reporting.
• Assist with M&A integrations and purchase accounting, including opening balance sheet entries and related analysis.
