Job summary

CFGI is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the close process, supervises intercompany activity, and oversee payroll accounting oversight without handling payroll processing. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

This role supports the expansion into new international markets, M&A integrations, and purchase accounting, reporting to the Controller. Strong leadership and communication are required.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of general financial accounting, month-end close, intercompany accounting, and internal controls.
• Ability to review payroll-related accounting without responsibility for payroll processing or payroll tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close process with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and schedules.
• Oversee intercompany transfer pricing calculations and related billings in line with policies.
• Manage intercompany close, reconcile balances, resolve discrepancies, and ensure elimination.
• Oversee payroll accounting oversight, including journal entries and reconciliations, without processing payroll.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to accounting staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee accounts payable and expense reimbursements with controls and issue resolution.
• Maintain cash flow forecasting to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely financial reporting and issue resolution.
• Support international expansion with new entity setup, multi-currency accounting, and local reporting.
• Lead integration of acquisitions and purchase accounting during M&A activity.
