Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking an Account Manager for Financial Services in the United States to build new business relationships and serve as the first line of support for existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective clients through various strategies including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, directories, and investigations.
• Create accurate spreadsheets of prospective client data including names, titles, and contact information.
• Generate daily mailings to prospective clients using updated spreadsheets.
• Conduct cold calls to prospective clients.
• Improve current new business development strategy through creative problem solving.
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with clients.
• Educate clients on translation process and TransPerfect’s rates and turnaround times.
• Liaise with production to ensure quality and attention to detail.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery, quality, and service.
• Research industries TransPerfect serves and stay informed on industry leaders and events.
• Perform other special projects or duties as required.
