Job summary

SPS Corporation in the United States is seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations for glazing and paneling projects. You will supervise crews, ensure safety and quality, and serve as the main liaison between field teams, project managers, and general contractors.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a track record in commercial glazing installation. Travel to various sites will be required, and you will ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 7 years of construction experience including supervisory or superintendent roles.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial glass and panel installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and QC standards.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site operations including glass installation and framing to ensure quality.
• Coordinate daily site activities and manage crews to meet milestones.
• Communicate with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and general contractors.
• Monitor progress in line with specs and industry standards.
• Lead daily site meetings and safety briefings.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain site documentation: reports, time sheets, receipts.
• Oversee field inventory and equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate with office for material delivery and site setup.
• Travel to different job sites as required.
