Job summary

SPS Corporation is seeking a Glass & Metal Panel Superintendent to lead large commercial construction projects from site to completion. You will manage field foremen, recruit and train staff, and ensure work is on time and on budget while upholding SPS safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include cultivating strong customer relationships, coordinating with General Contractors, and maintaining accurate time sheets and performance metrics across the crew.

Qualifications

• Five years of glass glazing and metal panel experience required.
• Proven ability to lead people and develop strong client relationships.
• Computer and technology savvy; willing to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Manage large commercial construction jobs to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget standards.
• Oversee foremen, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for field positions.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with General Contractors and clients.
• Ensure time sheets are accurate and teams adhere to safety and regulatory rules.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ability to run large commercial construction jobsAccountable for assuring that assigned jobs adhere to the standards for safety our number one priority customer and team relationships quality schedule and productionResponsible for personnel development by managing field foremenInvolved in the recruitment selection placement and evaluation process of all assigned individuals; both employees and subcontractorsThe primary focus of the Superintendent will be to assure that a job is completed on time and on budgetDevelop good customer relationships to assure that they are the partner that helps drive the job with the General Contractorcustomer or clientAssure that all jobs employees meet SPSs standards for safetyPartner with the Safety Team to assure that all employees are working safely and adhering to SPS and the customers safety rulesInsure that all employees and team adhere to State Federal Local and PWI rules and regulationsAssuring that the assigned team members time sheets are accurate determining appropriate pay levels assessing skills and rewardingdisciplining in relation to their performanceResponsible for teaching foremen recruiting interviewing assessing and hiring staff to work on the jobs under the supervision of foremenUtilizing or developing regular training programs to enhance and increase their teams skill sets and performanceOther duties as assigned

Requirements
