Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Rocky Mount, Virginia is seeking a dedicated team member to perform repetitive workstation operations in the mass production of windows and doors. Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Operate hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure; will be asked to read measurements during interview; inspect, examine, and observe for product defects.
• Make fraction and decimal conversions.
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.
