Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio is seeking a Production Associate for the 3rd shift (Sun-Wed, 7:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.). The role involves fabricating components for final window assemblies in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, using hand and power tools.

You will perform repetitive operations to mass-produce windows and doors, read work orders, and read a tape measure. Must lift up to 25 pounds and training will be provided. Cornerstone is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May assist with delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers to complete tasks.
• Read and follow simple written instructions and work orders.
• Read labels and schedules; measure with a tape measure as needed.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure quality.
• Operate equipment required to perform the job and provide on-the-job training to new employees.

Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

3rd Shift: S-W 730p-6am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.
