Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio is seeking a Production Associate to fabricate and assemble window components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will mass-produce parts, read work orders, and use various hand or power tools. This role supports multiple departments and may involve loading, wrapping, and unloading materials.

The position operates on a 3rd shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 7:30 PM–6:00 AM with overtime. Base pay is $17.00/hour plus a $1/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly.
• Preferably experience in manufacturing or reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers to complete tasks as directed.
• Read and carry out verbal and written instructions from work orders and schedules.
• Read tape measure readings and convert fractions/decimals as needed.
• Operate equipment required for the job and assist with other duties as assigned.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate: $17.00 plus $1 per hour shift differential

3rd Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 7:30PM To 6:00AM (Overtime until 6:00AM)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Qualifications
