Job summary

CFS is seeking a General Ledger Accountant for the SW Portland area. The role supports month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls in a collaborative, hybrid work setting.

You will prepare entries, assist with treasury and tax filings, and contribute to financial reporting and audits in a manufacturing-adjacent environment. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses to support the month-end close process.
• Assist with treasury activities, sales and use tax filings, and multi-jurisdiction compliance.
• Support financial reporting, annual audits, and special accounting projects.
• Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
