Job summary

LHH Portland is seeking an Accountant, Financial Reporting to support expanding reporting requirements in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You will gain hands-on exposure to consolidations, intercompany accounting, external audits, and process improvements while working closely with finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years accounting experience; public accounting preferred.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and financial statement prep.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP systems experience a plus.
• Proactive communicator with strong organization and PM skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement reporting.
• Prepare intercompany journal entries and reconciliations.
• Participate in month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.
• Support external audits and deliverables.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses.

Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)

Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 base salary + 10-15% target bonus

This role offers hands‑on exposure to financial reporting, consolidations, intercompany accounting, external audits, and process improvement initiatives within a multi-entity environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to broaden their technical accounting and reporting experience while working closely with finance leadership in a fast‑paced, evolving organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Prepare intercompany journal entries, reconciliations, and related accounting activities.
• Participate in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.
• Support external audits, including audit requests and deliverables.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc accounting analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience or a blend of public and industry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with multi‑entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
