Job summary

VertiGIS, a leading GIS software provider, seeks a technical presales professional to translate technology into business value for North America. You will engage prospects, customers, and partners via phone, boardroom, and events, defining architectures and proof-of-concept solutions using VertiGIS Studio and Esri tech.

The role emphasizes building enterprise-level demos, collaborating with sales and marketing, and educating stakeholders on the business impact of GIS-enabled architectures.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a similar or related role.
• Experience/aptitude for Product Management, Product Marketing, or Technical Presales with a software company.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and product expertise to our sales team, prospective customers, and partners during the sales process
• Create and showcase VertiGIS Studio demonstration solutions for prospective customers and partners
• Develop and maintain an enterprise level demonstration environment with VertiGIS Studio and Esri technologies
• Coordinate resolution of technical/product issues during the sales process
• Translate prospect business requirements into architecture and design specifications
• Define and craft proof of concept applications based on customer requirements
• Support and deliver presentations, training, and workshops at marketing events
• Collaborate with sales/marketing to develop product solution materials
• Work with products team to position key capabilities with stakeholders
• Develop in-depth technical knowledge of VertiGIS Studio and its value proposition
• Educate sales/partner staff on business value of VertiGIS Studio and GIS-enabled architecture
