Job summary

Esri in the United States is seeking a geospatial subject matter expert to advise customers on complex GIS challenges, lead technical meetings, and demonstrate the value of Esri solutions. The role emphasizes problem solving, sales alignment, and technical leadership within an account team.

The candidate will present to both technical and non-technical audiences; experience with ArcGIS, DBMS, cloud platforms, and programming (Python/JavaScript) is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Esri technology creating maps and configuring web applications.
• 3+ years in AEC, environmental consulting, or related industries.
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS in IT context (hardware, security, networking, cloud).
• Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and solution design.
• Understanding of sales and business development processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri deployment and architecture.
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments (Azure or AWS).
• Experience integrating software solutions with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics.
• Programming and scripting experience with Python and JavaScript.
• Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25‑50%.
• Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.

Responsibilities
