Job summary

Esri is seeking a highly technical GIS Solution Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor to major commercial customers. You will lead technical discussions, demonstrate GIS solutions, and align Esri technology with customers’ business needs while collaborating across the Esri organization.

You’ll present complex GIS deployments to executive audiences, design solutions, and support sales initiatives across industries such as insurance, finance, healthcare, and real estate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
• 3+ years in Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, or Financial Services.
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS in IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing).
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with enterprise-level decision makers and drive revenue through technical meetings.
• Be a technical leader of Esri technology and a SME for commercial industries including insurance, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, media, entertainment.
• Craft and propose GIS-based solutions addressing clients' business challenges and lead complex strategies.
