Job summary

NISC is seeking a Software Development Team Lead to guide an agile team working on Mapping & Staking and our cloud platform. You will manage GIS data workflows, coordinate cross‑functional efforts, and mentor engineers to deliver high‑quality software.

The role emphasizes leadership, code quality, and collaboration across departments, with hybrid work from multiple office locations including Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with GIS, ESRI or ArcGIS preferred.
• Experience with Java, C#, Angular/JavaScript, Spring Boot.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo, Rundeck.
• Strong collaboration and multi-priority management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
