Job summary

NISC is seeking a Software Development Team Lead for the Mapping & Staking product and our cloud platform. You will guide a cross-functional engineering team, manage GIS data workflows, and ensure robust test coverage across web and desktop applications.

You will mentor developers, drive SDLC best practices, and collaborate with multiple departments to deliver reliable software while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with GIS, ESRI or ArcGIS.
• Experience with Java / C#, Angular / JavaScript, Spring Boot.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo, Rundeck.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for development efforts and productivity of the engineering team.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues.
• Coach and mentor direct reports.
• Ensure quality standards and SDLC best practices.
• Provide progress reports to management.
