Job summary

NISC is seeking a Software Development Team Lead to guide the Mapping & Staking product and cloud platform. You will lead an agile team, manage GIS data, and ensure high-quality software across web and desktop applications.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in software development, and experience with GIS/ArcGIS. Hybrid work is available across multiple office locations, including Mandan, ND.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software development or related technical areas.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with GIS, ESRI or ArcGIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for development efforts and productivity of the engineering team.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues.
• Coach and mentor direct reports.
• Ensure quality standards and SDLC best practices.
• Provide progress reports to management.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Commit and test production code.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and problem-solving.
