Job summary

Cloudpoint Geospatial, Inc. is seeking a GIS Account Manager to grow and support the Infrastructure & Utilities client base.

You will work with utility customers and transportation agencies to optimize investments in the ArcGIS platform, explaining GIS capabilities and translating technical workflows for executives and end users. The role emphasizes client discovery, solution scoping, and delivering projects with our team, while traveling 2–3 days per month.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on GIS experience with utilities, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of the Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise).
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical workflows for clients.
Self-motivated, high-energy, and proactive in taking initiative.
Ability to present GIS concepts to decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Serve as main point of contact for utility, transportation, and infrastructure clients.
Conduct cold outreach to new prospects by phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Educate clients on GIS best practices, including ArcGIS Utility Network migration.
Lead client discovery meetings with support from technical staff.
Identify client needs and opportunities for new projects, renewals, and expanded services.
Coordinate scopes, quotes, and proposals with team leaders and technical staff.
Grow relationships and new business through outreach, referrals, and industry networking.
Track client activity in CRM and stay current on Esri technology trends.
Travel for client meetings, conferences, and events approximately 2–3 days per month.
