Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred for applicants.
• Nevada teaching certificate desirable for teachers under contract with WCSD.
• CPR certification required for coaches/advisors involved in athletic activity.

Responsibilities

• Develops rapport with students and provides leadership; models good sportsmanship.
• Maintains communication with Principal/AD; informs about trips, games, and program status.
• Develops accountability, upkeep, and protection of equipment.
• Develops good public relations in the school and community.
• Attends contests and practice sessions.
• Completes reports evaluating the activity and recommends improvements.
