Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Procedural RN to support the GI suite, circulating and assisting in procedures while coordinating patient care with the team.

This position requires RN licensure and at least one year of RN experience, with flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. New graduate pathways and a nurse residency program are available to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends and on-call.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations with leadership, communication and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist in the GI procedural suite.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to plan, implement and evaluate patient care, educate patients and families, and orient colleagues and peers.
• Lead or participate in preceptor roles, informal/formal leadership and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level, patient acuity and resources.
