Mayo Clinic is seeking a Procedural RN to join the GI suite and support patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment. The nurse will circulate and assist in GI procedures, coordinate with pre/post teams, and educate patients and families as part of a collaborative care approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program per ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• Evidence of baccalaureate degree in nursing within five years for some hires.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the procedural setting as a circulating/assisting RN in GI suites.
• Collaborate with nursing staff in pre/post areas to plan, educate and implement care.
• Educate patients and families and orient colleagues and peers.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement and nursing leadership activities.
