Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide circulating care in the GI procedural suite. The RN collaborates with nursing staff in pre/post areas to plan, implement and evaluate patient care, and to educate patients and families.

New graduates are guided through the Nurse Residency process, with opportunities for growth and leadership within the Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program and RN licensure.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the procedural GI setting as circulating nurse.
• Collaborate with nursing staff in pre/post areas to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and families; orient peers and new staff.
• Support leadership, quality improvement, and professional practice activities.
