Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Procedural RN to deliver patient care in the GI procedural suite, circulating and assisting with procedures. The RN collaborates with the pre/post nursing team to plan, implement, and evaluate care, and to educate patients and families.

Flexibility to cover days, evenings, nights, weekends and on-call is required. Graduate nursing program completion with RN license is mandatory; BLS certification and EMR proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work flexible hours including days/evenings/nights/holidays/weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the procedural setting (circulating and assisting in GI procedures).
• Collaborate with nursing staff in pre/post areas to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and families and orient colleagues and peers.
