Job summary

The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for the Gonda 2 South Surgical Services: Outpatient Procedure Center, Procedural RN. You will circulate and assist in the GI procedural suite and collaborate with the team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

New graduates are directed to the Nurse Residency Program; experienced RNs provide leadership, patient education, and care transitions. A current RN license, BLS, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• RN license by applicable state requirements.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork; able to educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist in the GI procedural suite.
• Coordinate nursing care with pre/post areas and plan/educate patients and families.
• Provide leadership and mentorship and contribute to quality improvement.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
