Responsibilities include handling payments, processing referrals, and maintaining accurate records while delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 6–18 months experience preferred (PSR I/II) or 3 years preferred (PSR III).
• CSF/PSR ladder: PSR IV is for internal progression.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify demographics and referrals.
• Verify insurance coverage using automated systems.
• Request and document co-payments or outstanding balances.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments per guidelines.
• Assist checkout, print referrals, and route messages and mail.
• Answer and route calls while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
